 Pune: An unfortunate incident has taken place in the Bhiwegaon Devkund waterfall near Bhimashankar in Pune district. A team of six doctors had gone for a walk. During this time, a doctor drowned. The name of this doctor is Subodh Karande. A local youth who went to save the drowning doctor Subodh Karande also drowned. The name of the deceased youth is Dilip Vanghere. Meanwhile, a rescue operation is underway in Devkund with the help of locals.   किल्ले विसापुर अपघात  शनिवार दिनांक 02/08/2025 लोणावळा ग्रामीण पोलीस स्टेशनचा काँल आला. विसापूर किल्ल्यावर कोणीतरी पडले आहे. जखमी आहे.  अब्राहम शिन्से (वय-28, सध्या रा. बेथानी चर्च आश्रम, रामवाडी, पुणे, मूळ रा. केरळ) अब्राहम हा त्याच्या 20 मित्रांसोबत शनिवारी सकाळी पुण्याहून बसने मावळातील भाजे लेणी, विसापूर व लोहगड किल्ला परिसरात पावसाळी पर्यटनासाठी सकाळी साडेदहा वाजता मळवली परिसरात आले होते. यावेळी ते मित्र भाजे धबधबा येथे पर्यटनाचा आनंद लुटल्या नंतर ते विसापूर किल्ल्याकडे जाताना किल्ल्याच्या पायथ्याच्या डोंगरातील एका दरीतील धबधबा चढून ते किल्ल्यावर जात होते. यावेळी चढताना अब्राहमचा दरीतील धबधब्याच्या एका निसरड्या खडकावरून पाय घसरल्याने तो जोरात खडकावर पडल्यामुळे त्याच्या डोक्याला गंभीर दुखापत झाली होती. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच पोलिसांनी या घटनेसंदर्भात लोणावळ्यातील शिवदुर्ग मित्रच्या आपत्कालीन पथकाला कल्पना दिली.  शिवदुर्ग मित्रच्या रेस्क्यू टिमनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेतली अब्राहम शिन्से पर्यंत पोचले. त्यापुर्वीच त्याचा मृत्यू झाला होता. याचा मृतदेह स्ट्रेचरवर घेऊन तिव्र ...

 A 21-year-old man drowned at Mahuli waterfall in Shahapur while enjoying the monsoon; local rescue team recovered his body amid challenging conditions.  While playing in the water, he reportedly lost his balance and fell nearly 25 feet into the deep stream. The local rescue team at Mahuli is said to have retrieved over 100 bodies from deep waters and gorges so far, often under extremely challenging conditions in the last five years. Nighoj is a village in Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra, India. It is about 90 km away from Pune and had naturally created potholes on the riverbed of the Kukadi River.   On 09/06/2025, one of the relatives who had come from Yeola Nashik to Nighoj Ranjankhalge for Devdarshan went missing on 10/06/2026. Everyone reached Nashik after searching, but he had not gone there either. Then they came to Nighoj again on 12/06/2025, when a body was found deep in Ranjankhalge. Shivdurg Mitra, Lonavala Rescue Team was called from Parner Police Station and called for help. It was night, so the team reached Nighoj Ranjankhalge early in the morning.
