Tourism restrictions in Pune eased

 Sinhagad : In view of the heavy rain warning issued by the Meteorological Department and the increased number of accidents due to crowding at the tourist spots, the district administration has relaxed the restrictions imposed for tourism on Gad forts and tourist spots in seven talukas of Pune district on the demand of the Conservator of Forests Pune and the Superintendent of Police Pune Gramin.  11July 2022 Visapur Rescue. A boy fell on Visapur fort and received a call that he was injured at 3.30 pm yesterday. Immediately after that, Shivdurg rescue team went for help. Yash Mehta Mangaon Raigad and his friends had come for trekking at Visapur fort. While walking, he slipped and fell about sixty feet and got stuck in a tree. With the help of other tourists coming to the fort, his friends pulled him out of the bush but he could not stand due to serious injuries to both his legs. Shivdurg Rescue Team reached Patan village waiting for traffic. The locals and the team picked him up safely from the middle of the fort on a stretcher. And shifted to Pune after receiving first aid at private hospitals in Lonavla. Shivdurg rescue team members Mahesh Masne, Sagar Kumbhar, Rohit Vartak, Yogesh Umbre, Harsh Tonde, Hershal Chaudhary Shashikant Belhekar. He added that revellers must not park their vehicles along the already-narrow road as it will slow the traffic near these waterfalls and dams.
