"At least two officers and 35 police personnel will be deployed in the ghat on Saturday, Sunday and the connecting holidays. The deployment will be at four waterfalls and the points developed by the MTDC. Some officers without official uniform will also be keeping an eye on tourists," said API Suhas Kharmata. He also said that those flouting norms will be dealt with strictly. Devkund was madness today. They recorded the highest number of footfall at Devkund ever, despite the flow of the water being at its worst especially at the main waterfall. Thankfully, my group started very early in the morning and there was nobody when we reached. But by 2 PM today, more than 5K people were let in 😤 Never seen rush like this even at a local railway station..
