NASHIK: The Wildlife Department has decided to close the Sandan Valley area for tourism at Kalsubai-Harishchandra Gad Sanctuary on the border of Nagar-Nashik district with dangerous waterfalls to prevent possible accidents on the backdrop of rains. It has been raining heavily in Bhandardara area for the last few days. Currently, the rains are well received in the entire state, so tourists are looking for rain tourism. Kalsubai, Ratangad, Harishchandra Gad, Panjre Falls, Amruteshwar Temple, Vasundhara Falls, Umbardara were well crowded with tourists in this area. Tourists flock to see the Sandan Valley, one of the deepest valleys in Asia. However, to avoid heavy rains and possible accidents, tourists are strictly prohibited from visiting the Sandan Valley, Konkankada, a dangerous white waterfall in the Kalsubai-Harishchandra Gad Sanctuary. For this, all the necessary precautions have been taken by the forest department. Meanwhile, the Wildlife Department has put up billboards in the valley to prevent amateur tourists from entering the Sandhan Valley.


"Sandan Valley has been closed for tourism to prevent any untoward incidents. Also, some dangerous waterfalls have been staffed by the forest department. Tourists will be monitored.
