Yesterday, a tourist slipped in the lower part of the Kalu waterfall and fell into the water below. He is from Hyderabad. His search operation is going on since yesterday. But continuous rains and strong river flow are hindering it. Search was not possible yesterday due to darkness. Today myself, Deepak Vishe, Kusum Vishe, Kamlu Pokla, Vijay Kalekar, Vinod Raikar, Jagdish Tajve, the villagers of Thitbi, the villagers of Waghewadi were searching the local police system but without success. The search operation will continue tomorrow. In order to prevent such incidents from happening again and to avoid loss of life, the administration has closed the Kalu waterfall for tourists for now. It includes Thitbi Base and part of Kalu Waterfall Top. Tourists are requested to avoid going to Kalu Waterfall area and cooperate with the administration.

काल काळू वॉटरफॉल च्या खालच्या भागात एक पर्यटक पाय घसरून खालील डोहात पडला आहे. तो हैद्राबाद येथील आहे.त्याचं कालपासून शोधकार्य चालू आहे. पण सतत पडणारा पाऊस व जोरात वाहणारा नदीप्रवाह यामुळे अडथळा येत आहे. काल अंधार पडल्यामुळे शोध घेता आला नाही. आज मी स्वतः,दीपक विशे, कुसुम विशे, कमळू पोकळा, विजय कालेकर, विनोद रायकर जगदीश ताजवे,थितबीतील ग्रामस्थ,वाघेवाडी तील ग्रामस्थ स्थानिक पोलीस यंत्रणा शोधकार्य करत होती पण यश आहे नाही. पुन्हा उद्या शोधकार्य चालू राहील.अश्या घटना पुन्हा होऊ नये व जीवित हानी टाळावी म्हणून प्रशासनाने काळू वॉटरफॉल पर्यटकंसाठी सध्या तरी बंद ठेवण्यात आला आहे. यात थितबी बेस व काळू वॉटरफॉल टॉप च्या भागाचा समावेश आहे.. पर्यटकांनी काळू वॉटरफॉल परिसरात जाणे टाळावे व प्रशासनाला सहकार्य करावे ही विनंती
