Sunday 1st October 2023. #MMRCC's rescue helpline receives a message that some children are stuck in Dhak Bahiri in heavy rains and cannot find their way back. Nothing for "survival" right, but they are slogging through the heavy rain and freezing cold. After receiving a message from the rescue team in Karjat, Lonavla, who is always "ready to serve" without even a moment's delay, the children of #Shivadurgmitra of Lonavla leave in the middle of the night, those children have no trouble walking at all and in such a situation, the members of the rescue team brought these children safely to Jambhivali around 1 am with the help of the police. Bring !!
Monsoon and accidents are not at all a new equation for Sahyadri tourism. These accidents, which used to be very serious matters for rescue coordinators and rescue teams, have unfortunately become so commonplace that the stress of handling them is now easily manageable with experience. Meanwhile, a highly dangerous reel featuring Moroshi's Bhairavagad in the rain and a heroic song in the background (needless to say which one) became so popular that instead of sensitizing these overzealous workers, "Mast re bhav" "hey khare nidhya cheste mavle" "warm rain to those who have breath" There was a barrage of very shallow, overconfident and crass comments like "It doesn't matter the storm". On the other hand, the comments like "please avoid this unwanted venture...it is not suitable to go on this trek in rainy season" were empty replies like "you don't see a Marathi man going forward" etc.!! On this occasion, some of the most burning and currently pending questions are as follows:-
1. If you go to a place and ask an experienced person whether the place is suitable for that #season, will the government sue you for damages??
2. No matter how good the season of a place is, is the father of the girl you want going to reject your place because you're scared because you've thought too hard about why it's #jumping #at you??
- Are the #rescue #team #members who come to help when you get stuck there working for your family??
- The reel seen in front is very dangerous and even though the person should not do that action again in vertical life by mistake, the "long experienced" great man who calls them "#nidhdya #chest" etc. Are you ready to take 1000% End to End responsibility of all those families??
- Are the climbers who raise awareness of people risking their lives for a thousand - two thousand likes stupid and stupid like you saying "the crowd is you...I am" etc. #wings #sitting and talking and when the time comes, the true veterans who shamelessly push the responsibility onto rescue members like us are free. ??
Friends ever remember….an accident due to ignorance once….let’s just hold it…..once gets forgiveness and sympathy but a self-inflicted crisis is met with a barrage of insults and no “counterstatement” from you. . Getting into an accident is not a crime but a car that stalls even when there is a red signal at Bhar Chowk and the traffic police is warning you to stop, deserves to be punished...because often #fear of something is not a vice but a #boon !!
It's not that Sahyadri always pleases.....He also makes #Bhoga if time comes !!
On the occasion of this post, it is requested to Thane Forest Department for Pune and Raigad for Dhak Bahiri and Moroshi Bhairavgad that for security reasons and to prevent the bill from falling on you tomorrow, at least for this, both the forts should be kept 100% closed from 1st June to 1st November every year and a post of Forest Department should be installed here at all times so that the night is not over. Those who go will be completely restricted.

रविवार दिनांक 1 ऑक्टोबर 2023. #MMRCC च्या रेस्क्यू हेल्पलाईन वर एक मेसेज येतो की ढाक बहिरी इथे भर पावसात काही मुलं अडकून बसली असून त्यांना परतीचा मार्ग मिळत नाहीये. बरोबर "सर्व्हायव्हल" साठी काहीही नसून प्रचंड पावसात आणि गोठवणाऱ्या थंडीत ते कुडकुडत आहेत. कर्जत, लोणावळा इथल्या रेस्क्यू टीमला मेसेज पोहोचल्यावर क्षणाचाही विलंब न करता कायमच "सेवेचे ठायी तत्पर" असणारे लोणावळ्याच्या #शिवदुर्गमित्रचे मावळे मध्यरात्री निघतात, त्या मुलांमध्ये चालायचे अजिबातच त्राण नसतात आणि अश्या परिस्थितीत कोसळत्या पावसात रेस्क्यू टीमचे सदस्य भर रात्री एकच्या सुमारास पोलिसांच्या मदतीने ह्या मुलांना सुखरूप जांभिवलीमध्ये घेऊन येतात !!
पावसाळा आणि अपघात हे सह्याद्रीतील पर्यटनासाठी अजिबात नवीन समीकरण नाही. रेस्क्यू समन्वयक आणि रेस्क्यू टीम्स ह्यांच्यासाठी पूर्वी अतिशय गंभीर विषय असणारे हे अपघात दुर्दैवाने इतके रोजचे झाले आहेत की ते हँडल करण्याचा तणाव आता अनुभवाअंती अगदी सहज हाताळता येतो. मध्यंतरी मोरोशीच्या भैरवगडवरचं भर पावसातलं आणि बॅकग्राऊंडला एक वीरश्रीयुक्त गाणं असणारं (कोणतं ते सांगायची गरज नाही) अत्यंत धोकादायक रील इतकं प्रसिद्ध झालं की त्यावर ह्या अतिउत्साही कार्यकर्त्यांना जागरूक करण्याऐवजी "मस्त रे भावा" "हे खरे निधड्या छातीचे मावळे" "ज्यांच्यात दम असतो त्यांना ऊन पाऊस वादळाचा फरक पडत नाही" वगैरे अत्यंत उथळ,अतिआत्मविश्वासयुक्त आणि बाष्कळ कमेंट्सची बरसात त्यावर झालेली होती. ह्याउलट "कृपया हे नको ते धाडस टाळावं...ह्या ट्रेकला पावसाळयात जाणं योग्य नाही" ह्या पद्धतीच्या कमेंट्सना "तुम्हाला मराठी माणूस पुढे जातोय ते बघवत नाहीच" वगैरे भुसा भरलेली पोकळ प्रत्युत्तरं होतीच !! ह्यानिमित्ताने काही अत्यंत ज्वलंत आणि सध्या ऐरणीवर असणारे प्रश्न खालीलप्रमाणे आहेत :-
1. एखाद्या ठिकाणी जाताना ते ठिकाण त्या #सिझनला #योग्य #आहे #की #नाही हे एखाद्या अनुभवी व्यक्तीला विचारलंत तर सरकार तुमच्यावर अब्रुनुकसानीचा दावा ठोकणार आहे का ??
2. एखादं ठिकाण भले कितीही योग्य सीझनमध्ये असू दे पण #ते #आपल्याला #झेपतंय #का ह्याचा अतिशय तारतम्ययुक्त विचार केला म्हणून तुम्हाला हव्या असलेल्या मुलीचा बाप तुम्ही घाबरट आहात म्हणून तुमचं स्थळ नाकारणार आहे का ??
- तिथे जाऊन अडकल्यावर मदतीला येणारे #रेस्क्यू #टीम #मेम्बर्स तुमच्या खानदानाची चाकरी करत आले आहेत का ??
- समोर दिसत असलेलं रील अत्यंत धोकादायक आहे आणि त्या व्यक्तीने ती कृती परत उभ्या आयुष्यात चुकूनही करू नये अशी अवस्था असतानाही त्यांना "#निधड्या #छातीचे" वगैरे म्हणणारे "प्रदीर्घ अनुभवी" महामानव पुढच्या वेळेपासून ह्या लोकांच्या सुरक्षिततेची, अपघात घडल्यास रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशनची आणि त्यांच्या पश्चात त्यांच्या आहे त्या सगळ्या कुटुंबाची 1000% End to End जबाबदारी घ्यायला तयार आहेत का ??
- हजार - दोनहजार लाईक्ससाठी जीव धोक्यात घालणाऱ्या लोकांना जागरूक करणारे गिर्यारोहक मूर्ख आणि बेअक्कल म्हणायचे का तुमच्यासारखे "भीड तू...मी आहे" वगैरे #पंख्याखाली #बसून बाता मारणारे आणि वेळ आल्यावर शेवटी ती जबाबदारी आमच्यासारख्या रेस्क्यू मेंबर्सवर निर्लज्जपणे ढकलून मोकळे होणारे खरे अनुभवी म्हणायचे ??
मित्रांनो कधीही लक्षात ठेवा....अज्ञानामुळे झालेल्या अपघाताला एकवेळ....अगदी धरून चला .....एकवेळ माफी आणि सहानुभूती मिळेल पण जाणूनबुजून अंगावर ओढवून घेतलेल्या संकटाला शिव्यांच्या लाखोलीचाच सामना करावा लागतो आणि तिथे तुमचं कोणतंही "काउंटरस्टेटमेंट" पुरं पडत नाही. अपघात होणं हा गुन्हा नाही पण भर चौकात लाल सिग्नल असताना आणि ट्रॅफिक पोलीस पोटतिडकीने थांबण्याचा इशारा करत असूनही दामटलेली गाडी शिक्षेसच पात्र ठरते...कारण अनेकदा एखाद्या गोष्टीची वाटणारी #भीती हा दुर्गुण नसून #वरदान असतं !!
सह्याद्री कायम खूशच करतो असं नाही.....तो वेळ पडल्यास #भोगायलाही लावतो !!
ह्या पोस्टच्या निमित्ताने ढाक बहिरीसाठी पुणे व रायगड तसेच मोरोशी भैरवगडासाठी ठाणे वनविभागाला आवाहन आहे की सुरक्षिततेच्या कारणास्तव आणि उद्या तुमच्यावरच बिल फाटू नये किमान ह्यासाठी तरी दरवर्षी 1 जून ते 1 नोव्हेंबर हे दोन्ही किल्ले 100% बंद ठेवावेत आणि इथे सर्वकाळ वनविभागाची एक पोस्ट बसवावी जेणेकरून रात्री अपरात्री जाणाऱ्यांना तरी पूर्णपणे निर्बंध बसेल.

शोध बचाव मोहीम
काल दिनांक 01/10/2023 सायंकाळी 6.15 ला कॉल आला एक ग्रुप ढाक भैरवला जाताना रस्ता चुकला आहे. श्रीपाद तगलपल्लेवार, क्षितीज गजभिये, अन्शुळ शेंडे, शुभम वाघ, कुणाल ठाकुर, आशिष ठाकरे सर्व मुळ नागपूर, गोंदिया व नोकरी पुणे असे चुकलेल्या मुलांची नावे आहेत
100 नंबर वर कॉल केल्यामुळे कर्जत, कामशेत पोलीस स्टेशनकडून सुध्दा कॉल आले.
शिवदुर्ग रेस्कु टिमचे दहा सदस्य लगेचच तयारी करून निघालो आठ वाजता चालायला चालू केले.
लोकेशन घेतलेले होते. एकाच ठिकाणी बसून रहा सांगितले होते.
स्थानिक गावकरी व पोलीस पुढे शोधायला गेले होते. आम्ही पण मागे मागे मदतीला गेलो . त्यांनी ढाक गुहेकडचा रस्ता सोडून पुढे ढाक गावाचा रस्ता पकडला होता व गावाच्या जवळपास ते पोचले होते.
शिवदुर्ग मित्र लोणावळा, स्थानिक ग्रामस्थ
बाळासाहेब पवार पोलिस पाटील, पोलीस कर्मचारी निंबाळकर, सातपुते, ए.पी.आय नम साहेब कामशेत पोलिस स्टेशन यांनी त्यांना जंगलातून सुखरूप बाहेर आणले. त्यांना चालताही येत नव्हते..
संततधार पाऊस, दाट धुके , अंधार, शेवाळलेल्या पाय वाटा यासारख्या अनेक अडचणींवर मात करीत रेस्कु ऑपरेशन रात्री साडेबारा वाजता संपले. सहा जणांचे जीव वाचले
