He has been missing from home since 11 January 2023. His car and last location was found in Nane Ghat on 12 January. The police have searched all the places in Naneghat by themselves and through different trekking groups but no concrete information has been found.

   On January 18, at 3.00 pm, Shivdurg received a call from the office of MLA Atulji Benke for help. The relatives of the missing children were also right. We said that we will reach early tomorrow morning on 19/01/2023 and carry out a search operation as it will be late and work will be delayed by going later in the afternoon.

   Materials were collected at night. Torch, walkie, camera charged, technical and materials, and materials for body packing were taken with them. At 5.30 in the morning, the team left for Junnar. It was a three and a half hour journey. Arrived like that.

Relatives had called at night and made sure that you will come at 8.00-9.00. Naturally, after eight days of hunting, such a reaction can occur. Reached the place after breakfast. Relatives were right. Discussed everything related to the case. Where the car was found, saw some cctv footage. And sent a team with binoculars in the opposite direction to inspect the suspicious place. The second group determined a place based on where they searched and what material they found. And work started around 9.30.

Removing materials, setting the channel of the walkie, fixing the anchor point and deciding who will go down and who will stay at the top, who will do what is all decided, the work of the one who goes down and the one who stays up and arranges water is of equal importance. So they decide what the leader should do. And the work started. In the beginning, Yogesh Umbre went rappelling down a thousand feet in the valley. Later Siddharth Adhaav went to help. Suspicious food marks were found which appeared to be clear white in color and were not bodies. But there was a mark nearby and after following it, a pair of black pants and an identity card were found and the investigation got a direction. It was confirmed that the pants that were found belonged to this boy. Then the smell started coming but the body was not visible after some more searching found the shirt down in the same line and then the body was visible around 12.00 noon. But it was not possible to go there because the plant was less. The bodies were generally in deep valleys more than 1200 feet deep.

   During such exploration missions in new places accidents happen due to loose rock. Big stones fall all around us. There is an incident like a war on the border. We want to save our lives. Everyone should take care of it.

   Now they wanted to take the body up with the permission of the police officer, they sent Ratan Singh down with medical gloves, plastic, stretcher, rope, food and drink materials for body packing.

   Can the body be taken down to the village? Discussed with the local people that it will be easy to pull up

  Since the distance of 1200 feet was big, it was decided to pull it up in two stages and after making all adjustments, the body came up at exactly 04.00 hrs. After that it took five and a half hours to set up, coil the rope and get the downed team back up safely. All of the team had dinner together at six o'clock and started their journey back.

   Local citizens, relatives of the deceased, police, officers, and team got valuable support to pull the body.

नाणेघाट सर्च ऑपरेशन

दि.11 जानेवारी 2023 पासून घरामधुन बेपत्ता आहे त्याची गाडी व शेवटचे लोकेशन नाणे घाट मध्ये 12 जानेवारीला मिळाले आहे. पोलिसांनी नाणेघाटातील सर्व ठिकाणी स्वतः व वेगवेगळ्या ट्रेकिंग ग्रुप मार्फत शोध घेतला आहे परंतु कुठल्याही प्रकारची ठोस माहिती मिळाली नाही.

  18 जानेवारी रोजी दुपारी 3.00 वाजता आमदार अतुलजी बेनके साहेबांच्या ऑफिसमधून शिवदुर्गला मदतीसाठी फोन आला. हरवलेल्या मुलांचे  नातेवाईक पण बरोबर होते. दुपारच्या नंतर जाऊन उशीर होणार व  काम होणार नाही म्हणून आम्ही उद्या सकाळी 19/01/2023 रोजी लवकर पोचून शोध मोहीम करु असे सांगितले. 

  रात्री साहित्याची जमवाजमव केली.टॉर्च, वॉकी , कॅमेरा चार्ज करुन ठेवले,  टेक्नीकल व साहित्य, व बॉडी पॅकिंगसाठी साहित्य बरोबर घेतले सकाळी 5.30 ला टिम जुन्नरच्या दिशेने निघाली . साडे तीन तासाचा प्रवास होता . त्याप्रमाणे पोचलो. 

रात्री नातेवाईकांनी फोन केला होता खरच तुम्ही 8.00-9.00 वाजता येणार का ??अशी खात्री केली.  साहाजिकच आहे आठ दिवस शोधाशोध केल्यावर अशी प्रतिक्रिया येऊ शकते. नाष्टा करून जागेवर पोचलो . नातेवाईक बरोबरच होते. बोलता बोलता केस संदर्भातील सर्व चर्चा केली. गाडी कुठे सापडली, काही सिसी टिव्ही फुटेज पाहिले. व संशयास्पद जागेची पाहणी करण्यासाठी विरुद्ध दिशेला  दुर्बिण घेऊन टिम पाठवली . दुसरा गट कुठे कुठे शोध घेतला व काय साहित्य सापडले यावरुन एक जागा निश्चित केली. व कामाला सुरुवात झाली साधारणपणे 9.30 ला.

साहित्य काढणे वॉकीचे चॅनल सेट करणे, ॲंकर पॉईंट फिक्स करणे व खाली कोण उतरणार वर कोण थांबणार, कोणी काय करायचे सर्व ठरले खाली जाणारा व वर थांबून पाण्याची व्यवस्था करणारा यांच्या कामाला सारखेच महत्त्व असते. त्यामुळे ते लिडर ठरवतात कोणी काय करायचे आहे.  व काम चालू झाले. सुरवातीला योगेश उंबरे एक हजार फुट खाली दरीमध्ये रॅपलींग करुन गेला . नंतर सिध्दार्थ आढाव मदतीला गेला . संशयास्पद वाटणाऱ्या खाणा खुणा शोधल्या जे स्पष्ट पांढऱ्या रंगाचे  दिसत होते ती बॉडी नव्हती . पण जवळच एक मार्क होता त्याला फॉलो केल्यामुळे एक काळी पॅन्ट व ओळखपत्र सापडले .व तपासाला दिशा मिळाली. जी पॅन्ट मिळाली ती या मुलाचीच होती खात्री झाली. मग वास यायला लागला पण बॉडी दिसत नव्हती थोडे अजून शोधाशोध केल्यावर त्याच लाईन मध्ये खाली शर्ट सापडला व नंतर बॉडी दिसु लागली साधारणपणे दुपारी 12.00 वाजता. पण  रोप कमी असल्यामुळे तिथपर्यंत जाता येत नव्हते. साधारणपणे 1200 फुटांपेक्षा जास्त खोल दरीत बॉडी होती.

  नवीन ठिकाणी अशा शोध मोहिमा करताना लूज रॉक मूळे अपघात होतात.आपल्या अजूबाजूने मोठ मोठे दगड गोडे जातात. बॉर्डर वरील युध्दासारखा प्रसंग असतो . आपला जीव वाचवायचा असतो. त्याची काळजी प्रत्येकाने घेतली पाहिजे. 

  आता पोलीस अधिकारी यांची परवानगी घेऊन बॉडी वर घ्यायची होती , बॉडी पॅकिंग साठी मेडीकल ग्लोज, प्लास्टिक, स्ट्रेचर ,रोप, खाणे  पिणे साहित्य हे सर्व घेऊन रतनसिंग याला खाली पाठवले .

  बॉडी खाली गावात घेऊन जाता येईल का ? कि वर खेचून घेणे सोपे जाईल यावर स्थानिक लोकांशी चर्चा केली व 

 1200 फुट अंतर मोठे असल्याने दोन टप्प्यांत वर ओढून घेण्याचे ठरले व सगळी जुळवाजुळव करुन अथक परिश्रमाने बॉडी ठिक 04.00 वाजता वर आली. त्यानंतर सेट अप काढणे, रोप कॉईल करणे खाली गेलेली टिम परत सुखरूप वर येणे याला साडे पाच वाजले. टिमचे सर्व जण सहा वाजता एकत्र जेवण करून परतीच्या प्रवासाला लागलो . 

  बॉडी खेचून घेण्यासाठी स्थानिक नागरिक, मृतांचे नातेवाईक, पोलीस, अधिकारी, व टिमचे मोलाचे सहकार्य लाभले.
