दर वर्षी पाऊस येतो मग दर वर्षी प्रमाणे पावसाळ्यात ट्रेकिंग चा पूर येतो, सह्याद्रीत अनेक अपघात होतात आणि रेस्क्यू करणाऱ्या संस्थांचा व्याप वाढतो. जवळ जवळ प्रत्येक विकेंड ला रेस्क्यू चा कॉल येतो.
या वर्षी सुद्दा रेस्क्यू साठी बरेच कॉल आले. पण या वर्षी येणाऱ्या रेस्क्यू कॉल्स मध्ये बऱ्याचदा जाणवले की जंगलात हरवलेला किंवा पाण्यात वाहून गेलेल्या व्यक्ती बद्दल काहीच माहिती उपलब्ध नाही. अपघात झालेल्या व्यक्तीच्या कुटुंबाला आणि त्याच्या मित्रपरिवरला काहीच माहिती नसते की आपला मुलगा किंवा मित्र कुठे जात आहे, कोणाबरोबर जात आहे. कशामुळे घडत असावं असं?
अल्प माहिती आधारे यांचा शोध घेणे ही कठीण जाते. काहीतरी पुरावा नसताना कसा शोध घ्यायचा? कधी कधी तर एखाद्या व्यक्तीची बाईक कुठेतरी पार्क केलेली आढळते, मग फक्त एवढ्याच पुराव्याच्या आधारे ह्या भल्या मोठ्या सह्याद्रीत कुठे कुठे शोध घ्यायचा?
ट्रेकिंग ला जाताना आपल्या कुटुंबाला, मित्रांना आणि ट्रेकिंग ला गेल्याल्या गावातील स्थानिकाना आपण कुठे जात आहोत हे माहिती असणे गरजेचे नही का?
