. ‘‘अंधारबन आणि सुधागड ही दोन्ही ठिकाणं अभयारण्याचा भाग असून अतिवर्दळीमुळे तेथील परिसंस्थेला धोका पोहचत होता. त्यामुळे तेथील गर्दीवर नियंत्रण आणणे गरजेचे होते. मात्र पूर्ण बंदी न करता गावकऱ्यांनादेखील रोजगार मिळावा या अनुषंगाने संख्येवर नियंत्रण आणल्याचे, पुणे वन विभागाचे मुख्य वनसंरक्षक विवेक खांडेकर यांनी सांगितले. दिवसाला केवळ १५० गिरिपर्यटकांना या भागात सोडले जाणार असून एकावेळी २५ जणांना सोडण्यात येईल. दोन ग्रुपच्यामध्ये अर्ध्या तासाचे अंतर असेल असेदेखील त्यांनी नमूद केले.

ताम्हिणी घाटाजवळचे अंधारबन आणि पालीजवळच्या सुधागड किल्ल्यावर यापुढे दिवसाला केवळ १५० जणानांचा प्रवेश दिला जाणार आहे. पुणे वन विभागाने हा निर्णय घेतला आहे. मागील वर्षांपासूनच अंधारबन आणि सुधागड परिसरातील  गिरिपर्यटकांच्या वाढत्या गर्दीवर नियंत्रण आणण्यासाठी हा निर्णय घेतला होता. मात्र तरीदेखील ६ आणि ७ जुलैला अंधारबनसाठी १० वेगवेगळ्या ग्रुपनी या ट्रेकचे आयोजन केले होते. त्या सर्वाना वनखात्याने परवानगीशिवाय या भागात जाता येणार नाही याची जाणीव करून दिली.

For tomorrow , vehicle will not be allowed to Bhira post 10 am today there was 6 KM long traffic

पावसाळा सुरू झाला की निसर्गाचे सौंदर्य अगदी मनमोहून टाकते आणि प्रत्येकाला वेड लागते ते पावसाळी भटकंतीचे. आपल्यापासून काही अंतरावर असलेली पर्यटन स्थळे, गड-किल्ले, धबधबे अनेक पर्यटकांना-भटक्यांना खुणावत असतात. परंतु काही स्थळांना भेट देताना तेथील भौगोलिक परिस्थिती सध्या काय आहे याबद्दल माहिती मिळवूनच तेथे भटकंती साठी जावे. असाच पुण्यापासून जवळच असलेल्या देवकुंड व अंधारबन परिसर नेहमी पावसाळी आकर्षणाचा विषय असतो. बहुतांशी हौशी भटक्यांना तेथील भौगोलिक परिस्थिती जाणून घेण्यापेक्षा हा ट्रेक अतिवृष्टीत कसा करता येईल याकडे कल असतो. विविध माध्यमातून प्रसारित होणाऱ्या जाहिराती तर अक्षरशः वेडावून टाकतात. हा परिसर अत्यंत सुंदर आहे यात तिळमात्र शंका नाही पण अशा ठिकाणांची भटकंती ही भौगोलिक परस्थिती पाहूनच करायला हवी.

ताम्हिणी घाट, देवकुंड व अंधारबन परिसरातील होणाऱ्या अतिवृष्टीमुळे तिथल्या ओढ्यां-नाल्यांचा प्रवाह काही अवधीत धोकादायक पातळीवर पोहचतो व अचानक बदलेल्या परिस्थितीचा अंदाज सहजासहजी येतही नाही आणि अशा अचानक उद्भवलेल्या कठीण परिस्थितीला कसे सामोरे जावे याचे ज्ञान व अत्यावश्यक असणारी साधनसामुग्री नसल्यामुळे पर्यायी अनेक अपघात होतात, शिवाय काही जणांना तर जीवाशी मुकावे लागते (दरवर्षी हा आकडा वाढतच असतो). मग अशी जीवघेणी भटकंती कशाला हवे? व अशा अतिउत्साही पर्यटकांमुळे हा परिसरही हकनाक बदनाम होतो त्याचे काय?

देवकुंड व अंधारबन परिसरात भटकंती करण्यापूर्वी अधिक सतर्क होणे गरजेचे आहे. शिवाय परिस्थितीचे गांभीर्य ओळखून सर्व गिर्यारोहण संस्थांनीही सुरक्षिततेचे सगळे निकष कटाक्षाने पाळायला हवेत, ज्या ठिकाणी धोका संभवतो अशा ठिकाणांपासून त्यांनी माघार घेऊन ग्रुपच्या सुरक्षिततेचा विचार प्रामुख्याने करायला हवा. सध्या सुरू असलेल्या मुसळधार पावसामुळे शक्यतो हा ट्रेक टाळावा. शिवाय इतर ठिकाणी भटकंती करताना ओढे-नाले ओलांडताना सुरक्षिततेची संपुर्ण खात्री करावी. परिस्थिती विपरीत असेल तर वेळीच माघार घ्यावी. निसर्गाचा आदर हाच करा भटकंतीचा खरा मूलमंत्र आहे.
