This is regarding the Andharban incident that happened on 04th May ,2019.

We started the trek at 10 40 AM with a group of guys who we were following. They made arrows with chalk on their way so that we’ll be able to follow them and not lose our way. It was all going good but by 4 PM, one of our friend was feeling very tired and needed water. We got to the water point and gave him water and started again. We were almost there, but our friend was losing hope and couldn’t walk. So we told him to rest there and we’ll get help. We got to the top of mountain contacted the Andharban Rescue Team and shared our position. In the meantime we also contacted the SOS Emergency, and talked to the control cell. But instead of listening to our problems, they were busy arguing about who should handle this distress call. I was giving them our coordinates but they were not ready to talk and started abusing us as well as the control room person.  I disconnected the call and called the rescue team number again and they finally came through for us. One guy who works as a rescuer ( Pawan Tanwade ) contacted me who sent 2 people from the village( Anil Kharade)  who came for us and helped us to come out from the jungle. It was merely a 30 mins walking and climbing and then we reached the end point. After that we thanked the rescuers and were on our way to pune around 9. In all of this the police never bothered to call back neither did the forest dept. 
Then we received the call from Police department, after everything was done, he told us he’s waiting for us at a restaurant in Mulshi. That is it  all the police and the forest dept did was wait at that restaurant which was 20 km away from where the actual incident took place and he told me that "madam itte der se ruke hai hum". He told us he just need to see that we are safe and then we can be on our way. There they again started tormenting us and started taking our names and addresses and clicked pictures. They told us that they just needed to finish some formalities and that is why the details were taken from us. 
Two days later we see that the police Dept has printed everything in the newspapers and took all the credit for the hard work that villagers and the rescue team did. They didn’t even call back after all this to take our consent to print all our information in the newspapers. 
The police is now denying that they didn't have any idea how the media got our address and names and how it got printed in the news. When they were the only one who knew these details.
Instead of helping us they are only taking credit and making us trekkers look bad in the newspapers. 

Please spread this true story and help the right people get the credit and so that the police cannot make mountains out of mere hills.

And none of this was worthy to be printed in the newspapers and making the life of the people so difficult by printing shady news.
